What about people like me who've had some real problems with the past gen of consoles and are wary of buying the new one so soon? Even if I had the money to buy a PS4 right now, which I don't, I had my original 60GB PS3 die on me back then, and even after paying a whopping 150€ to have it repaired, it died on me again a year and a half later. I had to fork out an additional 300€ to buy one of those (back then) new 320GB PS3 with GT5 so I could still play all the fantastic PS3 library....

Stoked for this. Pretty much the only highlight of squeenix's presser as fas as I'm concerned. I really loved the 3 Hitman games back then on the PS2, especially thanks to Joris De Man's orchestral score. Played them over and over, and I wish I owned them again on the PS3 in the form of that compilation. Oh, and I still have to buy Hitman Absolution, too.

No it's not. Keep in mind Gaikai-PS Now allows users to stream games of not just one console, but 4 or 5 (PSOne, PS2, PS3, PSP, PS Vita) to not just one system either, but many, including some TVs.

The prizes are very underwhelming IMHO, at least compared to the daunting task of acquiring those trophies, or...having the 400€ necessary to purchase a PS4.
How come PS3 owners are left out of the competition, when they have paid so much as PS+ subscribers over the 5 years?

The only thing I don't like about this game is: WTF is that metal horn doing on Snake's forehead, now? Are we gonna play with the character always like that? And don't give me that impossibly absurd story of supposed head transplant or whatever, I'm not 4 years old. Thing is, 10-year-long lifespan is what Sony committed to, but we're not on the PS3's 10-year anniversary, and already the games coming out for it, nevermind the exclusives, are very few and far between.
The system came out in Nov. 2006 in the US & Japan, and March 2007 in Europe, so there should still be games coming out for it in March 2017 if I'm not mistaken.
